REFLECTIONS ON ASSIGNMENT 3

From my tutor’s comments, I will try to consider the following things as I move forward:

Look at the tonal range I use and try to use a greater range of tone;

Try and reflect more on materials and composition;

Try and work more with individual mediums and improve range of tone and marks made within the one medium;

Use an eraser as a tool, alongside charcoal and pastel;

Break away from using a fine liner to bring detail and outline. Learn to use charcoal/pastel to create the effects Im seeking;

I’d like to rework assignment 3 at some point, before I complete Drawing 1 – to try and use a range of tone to greater effect.

Try and relate the research I’m doing to the work I’m doing . Ask what I am learning and how can I put this into future work.
